Greetings all,
With the unpredictable weather, winterization will need to begin early to ensure all boats are safe for the freezing temperatures and can be completed before winter this year. We also recommend looking into other licensed and insured boat maintenance providers, as we cannot guarantee to accommodate all of our clients if there is an early cold season. Please remember that heaters (electric or otherwise) are not allowed in lieu of winterizing.
In our contract with Colorado Parks & Wildlife, we are required to confirm with each client that boats staying in the marina have been properly winterized. If we do not perform the service, you will need to sign off that the service has been performed, whether done by you or a third party.
For those planning to have us perform winterization services, please fill out the Winter Service Work Order Request. If you have any questions about this form or would like a quote on services, please call (719-406-8835) or email us.
For those planning on performing their own winterization services or arranging a third party to perform the services, please fill out the Vessel Winterization Acknowledgment Form. This form will need to be completed once the boat(s) have been completely winterized. Please remember any third party needs to check in with the marina and be licensed & insurance.
If you intend to store your boat on the trailer with us this winter, please fill out the Storage Request Form and return to us. You will receive an invoice for the full amount once the form has been received.
